The Main tab of the Prescriber Folder provides an overview of the prescriber.

Select the expander icons in the image below. For province specific fields, see Table 1.

Prescriber Field Province Description
Sask Type Saskatchewan

Displays the type that will be sent to Saskatchewan Health for claim adjudication. Three types are available:

  • Saskatchewan Medical Practitioner (Physicians, Optometrists, Dentists, Prescribing Nurses)

  • Saskatchewan Pharmacist

  • Sask Health Medical Services Number (Out of Province and 9998)

Role Type

 Saskatchewan Displays the type of health professional that will be sent in EHR transactions involving this prescriber.
Province # Saskatchewan Displays the number assigned to the prescriber for claim adjudication to Saskatchewan Health. Unlike other Third Parties, Saskatchewan Health claims go through ADAPT instead of CPhA.
